This Kelly Mountain warming hut is utilized as a warming hut during the day from 10 am until 4 pm. From 4 pm until 10 am the following morning it can be rented out for an overnight stay. The hut has a wood stove with supplied firewood, kindling, and fire starter for heat. A dual burner propane stove is provided for cooking, along with a minimal kitchen. Two propane lanterns are provided for light. For sleeping the hut has two cots with pads that are always setup. There are two more cots and pads stored underneath the setup cots. These can be put up after the daytime use is over but please store them again when you leave. There is also an axe and maul for breaking down the firewood further, a broom for keeping the tent clean and a snow shovel to keep the tent cleaned off. An outhouse tent is located a short distance behind the main tent.
Users of the tent are asked to clean the snow off the entire tent to help keep it standing. Please take out all trash you bring in and clean any of the kitchen items you use.
